Death Begins in the Colon."Hippocrates”

Health is worth MORE than a BILLION dollars. It is a great treasure that many have not learned to appreciate. Most people are willing to spend good money on a lot of things yet they are not willing invest a dime on their health. It is ironic then that we can lose just about any possession in life arid still go on ... but when we lose our health, it is OVER for us. Even now, most bankruptcies today are due to growing medical bills. The message is clear: Gamble with your health and you lose not only your life, but also your livelihood.
So it is critical that we invest in this great treasure and ensure that our most important asset in life is well cared for. This assures us of a long and enjoyable life.

So let us begin by learning a few things about the condition of our health today and see what we can do to keep ourselves in top shape.

Believe it or not our bodies were designed to last for ONE HUNDRED and TWENTY YEARS. The human body is built for survival and can take a lot of beating.

However, the recent health statistics show that the overall average life span of humans has been reduced to somewhere between 70 to 77 years; and the leading causes of death are identified as HEART DISEASE and CANCER.

It is apparent that our bodies have been taking in more than it can handle. The abuse and neglect that we inflict on them over time are causing the development of these killer diseases. Whatever we are doing to our bodies DAILY is taking away decades from our life.

"'We do not DIE ... We KILL ourselves."
The answer to this query can a complicated one. But latest research is pointing to BODY POLLUTION as the culprit behind many of our current health problems. The accumulation of toxins our trash poisons the cells, interfering with both, its healthy functioning or growth. Now, think of your body as a fishbowl. Like a fishbowl, SEVENTY PERCENT of what you are carrying in your body is water. Our cells are virtually like fish floating in this watery environment.

For those of you who have cared for a fish in a bowl, you know that it takes more than just feeding the fish to keep it alive. Refreshing the water is a critical part of it.

What is killing the cells in our fishbowl is NOT our failure to feed it, BUT our failure to keep its water clean!
Trash, in the form of toxins and other body waste, accumulates inside the body over time and their presence harms the cells and interferes with their function. Their entry damage the cells DNA, resulting in abnormally functioning cells or abnormally growing cells that produce tumors.

Toxins are poison and are harmful to the body so the body will attempt to get rid of them. One of the most important organs for elimination is the LARGE INSTESTINE or COLON.

The Colon is the 'Garbage Can' of the body and is in charge of dumping our waste on a daily basis. A healthy body requires effective elimination of trash.

However, recent findings show that our current diet and lifestyle, the colon fails to do its job properly, resulting in retention of fecal matter and in the eventual build up of sedentary waste. In time, bacteria will break down retained fecal matter resulting in the release of more toxins and noxious debris.

Retained fecal waste decomposes releasing noxious toxins that are reabsorbed in the bloodstream. The action of the bacteria also produces fermentation of this waste that results in the release strong, foul-smelling FLA TUS or gas ... this is the cause abdominal bloating and flatulence.
The colon reacts to the decomposing fecal waste by secreting mucus. It is an attempt to get rid of the rotting garbage inside. However, as mucus thickens, if becomes sticky and, instead of taking them out, it traps fecal matter in. Over time, the colon walls are coated with fecal matter.

Over time, the mixture of mucus and the trapped fecal matter in the colon walls becomes a cake of hard fecal matter. Layers of hard feces and mucus turn into a plaque that remains stuck to the colon walls. Dr. Richard Andersen calls this slimy gunk as ' MUCOID PLAQUE’. This plaque will eventually block bowel movement and trap more fecal waste.

Now, in the presence of this plaque, more garbage is trapped and more 'toxins are released into the system. This makes the colon a big contributor to the accumulating toxins in the body. This is how, 3ccording to Colon health researcher Dr. Bernard Jensen, "Autointoxication or Self-poisoning" begins.

Answer: From the works of Richard Anderson, N.D., N.M.D.
'The intestines can store a vast amount of partially digested, putrefying matter (as well as drugs and other toxic chemicals)-for decades even. Some intestines, when autopsied, have weighed up to 40 pounds and were distended to a diameter of 12 inches with only a pencil-thin channel through which the feces could move.)
That 40 pounds was due to caked layers of encrusted mucus mixed with fecal matter, bizarrely.' resembling hardened blackish-green truck tire rubber or an old piece of dried rawhide. I call this 'mucoid plaque'. This mucoid plaque, when it is removed during an intensive colon cleanse, often shows ropelike twists, striations, overlaps, folds, creases-the shape and texture of the intestinal wall.
Mucoid plaque may vary considerably, depending on the chemicalconditions1n'B person's intestines. It may be hard and brittle; it may be firm and thick; tough, wet, and rubbery; soft, thick, and mucoid; or soft, transparent, and thin; it can range in color from light brown, black, or greenish-black to yellow or grey, and sometimes emits an intensely foul odor.
One client I know, in the course of a month-long colon cleanse, passed a single length of mucoid plaque 15 feet long; another client excreted a total of 11 pounds of mucoid plaque during a cleanse. It is not unusual to pass a total of 35 to 45 feet of plaque, often in the last week. In our clinical experience of monitoring thousands of intensive colon cleanse programs over the last 14 years, most people pass a staggering amount of this strange substance.
I coined the term 'mucoid plaque', meaning a film of mucus, to describe the unhealthy accumulation of abnormal mucous matter on the walls of the intestines. Conventional medicine knows this as a layering of mucin or glycoproteins (made up of 20 amino acids Find 50% carbohydrates) which are naturally and appropriately secreted by intestines as protection from acids and toxins.

This plaque causes some form of obstruction that traps more fecal matter that rots inside the body. Imagine, a FULL GARBAGE CAN that keeps on receiving garbage daily. The incoming trash has nowhere to go but spill over to the tissues and pollute or poison the system.
'Dirty' body is bound to produce a host of problems. Here are some of them:

-Skin problems (acne, dermatitis, rashes)
-Migraine or frequent headaches
-Frequent colds, sinus problems, coughing
-Shortness of breath or chest pain
-Abdominal problems (bloating, constipation, hyperacidity, indigestion)
-Muscle and joint aches and pain
-Sluggishness or lack of energy
-Weight gain
-Tumors and cysts
-Hormonal problems

The long- term effect for the colon is a host of intestinal diseases, which includes diverticulosis, olyps, diverticulitis, and yes, COLON CANCER! Thus, it is of utmost importance that you keep our COLON, your Garbage can, clean ALL THE TIME. We can begin to keep our body healthy by insuring that our colon is effective in doing its job.

Popular programs of removing this plaque involve seven-day to 30 day fasts and! or a series of :OLON ENEMAS. An enema is a procedure where a catheter is inserted into the rectum and an enema solution, which usually 'Bentonite' or clay water is pumped into the colon. Some programs se boiled coffee while others prefer saline solution.

Then, the solution is allowed to permeate the entire colon and then is, either drained or forced out sing a special suction or colonic machine. This is done at least three-times a day for a period of even days.
